GCC currently conducts an online corporate health program available through the internet online platform identified as www.gettheworldmoving.com which will enable people to take part in a worldwide event as a team of 7 seven persons by recording daily step counts entitling them to simulate in a virtual worldwide walk around the globe.

This year there are over 180,000 people competing, and one team from Texas has already finished having travelled over 15,000 kilometres in under nine weeks, with each person in the team averaging 55,000 steps each day.

My own team has only travelled 5000 km so probably will not make the distance by the time the 112 days is up. I am averaging 23,000 steps per day, and should be out walking and not typing this....... I will be back in September to see if there are any replies.

That is probably more than I walk in a year.

Someone has to do a lot of walking to hit 55,000 steps in a day! Must be all they do other than sleep.
