I don't usually do the cumulatives on odd-numbered months. They are far more manual work than the single month standings (which I have 90% automated) and there isn't that much movement on the table in just one month.

I don't think there will be any major moves except that about everyone will go up one place due to the disbanding of The Vicious Circle.

I took the time to check that for the teams that were in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place (no vested interest, here ;)) and they have indeed moved up a slot, with no change of order.

By my very quick check of the two lists next to each other, in the top 15, only the two pairs Devil's Advocates / Animal Farm and Music Moguls / Recycled Virgins have traded places. Everything else remains sorted.

I'm pretty happy to see my team move up from 49th at the beginning of the year to 23rd in the standings now.

It can be done. The llamas didn't start off at the top but had to climb slowly up the table (had it then existed). Good luck.

Well, if it wasn't a table you were climbing, it must have been something. May I inquire if it was slippery in nature as you tried to gain a foothold?

Lots of upward movement with almost no corresponding downward trends this time - this is due to the dissolution of previous leader The Vicious Circle, resulting in a universal uptick of one place for everyone. Otherwise we're seeing a quite stable leaderboard with no major surprises.

That's funny...I could have sworn we were doing better in games...especially Team Heroes. Oh well.

Thanks for doing the stats, Wes! Always good to see them. smile

And thank you for the encouragement, GTC! We're getting there, in about a decade, maybe. I used to be able to count on my fingers our active members, now they're popping out of ears. Most say it's because of the name...

Don't pay any attention to our team leader, encouraging other teams to climb the ladder? shocked Whatever next! (Except he's right, it can be done, lol.) (Just don't do it higher than step 2.)

Thanks for the stats, Wes... very prompt, and in the right order. wink

But if we don't do it higher than step 2, then in the cumulative 10 month, we'd be second and you third. tongue

My team, Trivia Bubbles, is in a creditable position overall, considering October was a bad month with two of us on holiday at different times. Since we're lucky to scrape six players most days, that had a major impact for the month. Thanks for the stats, Wes - as interesting as ever.

Edit in accordance with Dippo's sensible comment.

Just a suggestion, but could posters actually mention their team name rather than just saying 'we'? It saves having to check profiles to see who you are talking about.

I keep looking for a team called 'We', and I've added it to my list of possible names for the future, but they don't appear on the list at the moment.

lol dippo, I agree.

Can I ask a stupid question? What does the "v" on the cumulative list mean? I'm sure it's been mentioned at some point, but I will readily admit that I am too lazy to wade through all the previous notes.

Anyhoo, I'd like to congratulate Kindred Spirits and Wild Mutant Noggins for moving up so many spots, as well as Midwest USA Players and Washingtons greatest being newly added TO the list : ))) Way to go folks!
