I find it humorous that I can see the coding because I am looking at a new challenge as Terry is creating it. It isn't ready yet, but it shows on my screen. Purple boxes! :P

My Global Challenge task just went from incomplete to complete after playing one category of this afternoon's game. Is it counting the 5 I played this morning for this or is that a mistake?

"I was apparently credited with two Difficult challenge completions that I didn't know about." - probably just a side effect of me undoing and redoing the scoring.

Oh, I completed my Medium Challenge "Time to be creative! Come up with 3 trivia questions to add to our pool, in 3 different categories." with no problems.

I don't know of this has been verified but I did an easy challenge (Score at least 1104 pts in the Daily Game and finish a crossword without any problems. The 5 sets in the GC worked too.

Finish in the top 5 in your division in a hourly game works too.

I'm having so much trouble with this one today, it's a little depressing. I know I can do it because I've done it many many times before. I guess today is just not my day. I've won Expert 11 times (and once I beat everyone else in the entire game), and I've won Piece of Cake and Word Wizard before...just cannot pull it together for this challenge...

Update: YAY!! Finally got a top 5 finish to complete my last Medium challenge! With my luck on categories today I'll be hard pressed to get a first place finish to complete my final challenge, so I'm going to call it a night. All the ones that I did complete today seemed to be recording and working fine on the challenge page.

Terry, these were very fun today! I played so many more daily challenges than I've played in a day for a very long time. It was a nice change from my normal "regular quizzes only" routine.

And added bonus: I also won the new "Zero" challenge, in 16 secs! laugh

Apart from my inability to read the instructions earlier today and my normal failure in the Ouija Board Crystal Ball I've managed to complete everything today with no problems. Well, apart from the Nemesis challenge which Kaddarsgirl will win - and deserves to win because she got me through the Twin Challenge yesterday. smile

You're not expected to complete all challenges, so dont worry about it if you cant. The difficult ones in particular are designed to be very hit or miss.

Nemesis failed spectacularly when all daily points reset at 10 to midnight smile

At least we now know what happens on a tie: One player gets it, the other does not. Not quite fair - this would have to result in a double fail.

But according to the Yesterday's Scores, no one got it. Am I missing something?

...Jumped the gun again on this one. Apparently the quiz of the hour switched to the next hour after I started playing it...so it didn't score the first one I played, and I had to do it twice...bummer.

When I first checked, it did show Salami as winner and you as loser.

However now it does show everyone as losing even though I did play a quick instaquiz in the 10 mins to make sure I would have a small score to check whether scoring worked the way it should.

So complete sequence of events:

- 10 to midnight, scores reset as normal
- If anyone scored in those 10 mins, it would count
- The winner was determined correctly based on those 10 mins except for the fact that a tie resulted in a random (first started?) winner. At this point, the challenge still showed the scores of both players along with the complete/incomplete
- A few minutes later, the score display had disappeared and everything was "incomplete".

Hmmm, maybe it reset? Because Salami was definitely ahead, but now his yesterday's score shows "incomplete".

Yeah the 10min before change over definitely screwed up the scoring. I was ahead of flopsy by several thousand points...

The score reset at 10 to midnight is normal - the challenge needs to check at 23:45 or so. Or, of course, look at the "Yesterday's score" field for final results.

I never noticed when the scores changed over before, I'm not normally on this late. Why do the scores switch over at 10 'til midnight?

It doesn't work exactly at midnight because for several reasons they have to be processed on the day they actually happened. The 10 mins makes sure the score reset and everything based on it (Brains, Endurance, etc) is correctly done by the time the date flips.
