I'll take a look at those. Remember that the majority of this challenge is just playing the large number of games. Scores aren't really the major intent behind this one. All of our epics don't have to kill people wink

The daily advantage is built-in with the ones I grabbed. The scores I took looked at the 14th best attempt out of the 14 days data - which on a daily game means the absolute worst try by the player. (Not so for an hourly)

Missed "My Quiz" BTW. 75/90.

Why make bus ride 6 constant? Why not 5, which is when you get credit for it?

It's what my data came up with. Very few players ever score below 6 on it (since you are encouraged to research and players are trying to have a margin of failure available in case they misclick). 5 does the trick just fine however.

I just noticed a typo in the FAQ: Credits and Buying Challenges: Why should I spend 9 credits to get a challenge worth far less when solved? section, bullet point 4.

It currently says "You might thus as well just spend them." This doesn't really make sense. It sounds like what was meant was "You might as well just spend them."

Terry, remember I gave the bus ride in questions to match the listing as it was. Needs to be multiplied by 15.

Kaddar, huh? The "thus" is a reference to the sentence before.

Ok, i've loaded your numbers and done the level mods... let's see how it looks. I did lower a couple I thought seemed a tad ambitious, but they look good in general.

No, it still doesn't make sense.

"You thus might as well just spend them" is pretty... confusing. Even reading the sentence before it.

The whole sentence is odd, and needs revising.

I understand that it is a reference to the previous sentence, it's just not a very clear sentence the way it is worded. It makes much more sense with the word removed.

In spite of playing a pretty horrible set today on a few counts (I would surely have missed any red targets today), the dailies were through without a whiff, but the lowest ones get close. Seems legit.

Now let's see if the lower level targets match as well.

What you wrote above with "thus" before "might" makes more sense, even, than the way it is written. Right now, "thus" after "might" is very confusing.

In copying them over, salami, you actually reworded it yourself. What you have in quotes is not what appears on the FAQ page.

Might have to up the mulligans by one. That's a lot of games to play.

Haha, kaddars, I did not realize that. I had originally posted my own rewording, and somehow must have mixed up the original wording in translation. wink

Oddly enough, Terry, 2 seems low. But 3 seems high. :P

My current epic says:

This challenge succeeds when you have 3 or fewer (left to do)

Current incompletes: 2

But the challenge is still marked as incomplete.

3 might be high for you salami, but it might just be the difference between me achieving or failing the flag. I don't play a lot of the games on the list. In real play, it will probably take me multiple tries at the epic before I actually earn it, even with the 3 mulligans.

Oh, I'm the same way.... 3 will still make things difficult for me. wink 3 isn't high for ME, it just sounds high in general.

But 2 does seem low. lol. 3 is best. wink

3 is okay. You want to give people a few whiffs so they don't immediately give up when a Daily doesn't go their way.

Wes, I'm about to construct a message to you with some corrections to the FAQs - just bits of English/grammar/typos. I'm sure you're thrilled. wink

Finish texts for all epic badgelets in place. Now we just need the regular badge(let)s and then the rest of FT can enjoy this (and we can see our really nice play records disappear without any trace)

I have the epic challenge when I can't complete it because there are 5 GM games and there are 3 mulligans.

It's a GM-only challenge which you should not have received.

Are we going to test anything else? Terry mentioned some "stress" testing a few days ago, but maybe watching me play FMI twenty times* was it.

*Just a teaser for Cubswin, I know he's fascinated. wink
