Yes, 28, that looks better. Thanks Terry.

Darn it! Got 26, but should have gotten 27 in the MM game....In the pull down I must have clicked the one right below the one I meant to click.

Poor Wes, set upon by Terry, has gone away until the storm of challenges has blown over, I'll bet. :-P

Yes, 28, that looks better. Thanks Terry. Agree that 28 is a good target. It is for my level too I think. I know I'm guaranteed at least 20 because I never screw up the synonyms and antonyms parts (except for my 1 click-slip today). My trouble is the "fits best with", but process of elimination can usually get me 7 or 8 of these, and many times I've gotten all 10, for a 30 score.

Nice, Flopsy. 30 isn't too difficult a target for some of the better players. I'm in the same boat at kaddarsgirl, it's that last set I struggle with. I don't get 30 too terribly often. 28 is common for me, but I've been doing worse than that lately. :P Oh well.

I think we're all in the same boat. That's my weakest set, too, so much so that I just leave it blank, not worth the time.

Terry has been driving me to the dark side and making me play that stupid game (I know Meathead likes it) the Crystal Ball. I swore never to touch it again... but now I have and have got the word twice in two days, lolol. Difficult challenge = tick!

Mind Melt for me is mainly guess, I'm quite good at guessing vocabulary words. I don't see repeats, but a lot of similar ones. I probably need to think about 50% of the matches or more. The second set, opposites, is the easiest. A quick glance is generally enough.

I struggled with this one so much since coming back that I just gave it up. Even helpful hints from players with a lot of wins didn't help me much. I've actually guessed a few of the words...typing while someone else gets it...just cannot get the timing right...other times I just don't even bother after an initial guess. I've got this one today too, though I think it will remain Incomplete.

The second set, opposites, is the easiest. A quick glance is generally enough. I don't even look at the options on the left for the opposites ones. I just go to the pull-down menu straight off. I don't really have to think for most of these. The synonyms I look to the left, because often times there are a couple of similar ones. I have to think for the majority of the ones in the last set though. Sometimes I just can't do it, and select the same answer for my final 3, knowing that one of them has got to match it.

Yes, I use the pull down the whole time as well. So much easier. No, Terry, I haven't memorized anything in that game. Most often I get new questions every time, and if any old ones are repeated, it's been long enough in the past I had forgotten. I can associate the like words and opposites fairly easily, so get that done within 60 seconds, probably. Then I slow down considerably with the final set, just because it's tougher. But no, it's not from memorization.

Meathead, huh? lol. That game is really frustrating, but if you just enter without trying, you can get a few. I got a word on my very first try, then a few, then NOTHING for ages. Nothing one can do about it, really.

Yes, I win seemingly randomly. I just input whatever words I fancy inputting, and sometimes I win, and sometimes I don't. Also, once I choose a word for a two-letter combination, I stick with it. That word will be the word eventually, and I will only change my initial pick once that word has been the word of the hour. I'm still working on "qursh" and "qurush" for qu.

I wonder how many badges and badgelets Terry will make with this new Daily Challenge thing. Currently, the maximum mini-badges one can win is 77 (there are 78 total, but one will never be winnable if you have the other, and there are a couple that cannot be won again by some, so, for the same of things, let's say, currently, one can win 76). That means we need 24 more mini-badges available so people can actually start winning the Challenge Mastery (100 badgelets). There are plenty over level 150 now. We need more. It's been suggested countless times before, but the 24hour badgelets would be nice. And I can imagine tons more can be made with this Daily Challenge game. The possibilities for this game are endless. Of course, I don't like oversaturating a game with badges right away.... Gradually.

This made me really sad when I got the one and couldn't get the other. I like the one I have though. It would be the one I'd pick if I had to choose one. It's cuter.

Of course this also means scoring 13100 in the GC is out of the question... too late for the am set. Great! I have company in the "Not going to finish the Global Challenge" Challenge group. :-P
