Anyone else watching this show on NatGeo? It's about a Hutterite community in Montana... they're sort of a cross between Amish, the general public, and hippies (since they live in a commune). It's very interesting!

I've seen a few episodes. There's only 59 of them, all told. Interesting seeing other ways of life.

Well, they aren't really very hippyish communes.....

There are lots of Hutterites in my part of the world. I have several quite good friends in the nearest colony, though it's hard to be close friends in the conventional sense because of how they live.

Lots of colonies around here too agony. Mostly see them at the farmer's markets but they sure do know how to keep to themselves. Not the most outgoing or endearing community but that's their way.
