I first heard of it when reading a Wikipedia article on the famed candy bar (which was named after the daughter of President Grover Cleveland, NOT the Bambino!), and I first heard it on YouTube. It's been covered by Johnny Maestro, the Crests, the Echoes and most recently by Marilyn Manson!

This is what you call a nontraditional post, because I’m listening to a tape I recorded a few months back with some music from two New Age programs I like on my local NPR Station: one’s called “Echoes” and the other is “The Thistle and Shamrock.”

Unfortunately, since then that station’s completely redone their programming, so Saturday nights no longer feature those programs (another NPR station does have “Echoes” during the week, though).
