smile frown laugh wink lol

How about a challenge where two players need to complete a separate challenge to win?

Ex: Player A must win a Who's the Expert? game
Player B must get a badge or badgelet

Both must be completed for the players to complete the challenge.

smile (Sorry, couldn't help myself) wink

I've done my first set of challenges for today. On the Difficult challenge (do 6 six quizzes marked tough or difficult and score at least 8/10) I noticed that my progress wasn't being shown in the right hand box - it said I'd only done 0/6 throughout.

I have to wait for a quiz to be put online before I can finish my Easy challenge, and I've got Twin today, so hopefully salami can match my 750 and we don't have to match a more complicated score later on today. Working on 3 new questions again today. 6 new questions submitted for me this week! Working my way toward that 50 goal for the badge...

Nevermind, bug found. It was displaying incorrectly if EVERY quiz you had played today fit the criteria.

"Play any two 10-question player quizzes in a row, achieving scores of at least 7 on each.
2 in a row found. Incomplete"

Uh....It's wrong.

And could "Participate in 6 different types of hourly games today, scoring at least 5 correct in each game. " get a list of what I did already?

Good idea! I was just trying which one I played when I logged on this morning...I realized I have no idea what it was (sad commentary on the state of my fairly young mind...)

That's wrong. Word Wizard is fine, but in Expert I only scored 2.

I don't know if it's happening in mine. I just looked an I recorded two Obscurity scores this morning, one that qualified (5) and one that didn't (1). My WW definitely counted though, with 11.

I think this should be edited to mention that Obscurity counts, and some Gold Members may not notice it since it's not under the "Daily Challenge" heading for games on the main page.

This also is counting games incorrectly, as I got credit for Obscurity, with a 5, not a 6.

Now it's double counting my Obscurity as well. Both too-low scores.

"Participate in 3 different types of hourly games today, scoring at least 4 correct in each game.
Word Wizard
Obscurity
The Mixed Game
Played in 3. Incomplete"

That's not correct.

All three qualify but are not being counted as complete.

Seems to be just a problem with mine, as the 3 other qualifying players have checkmarks.

Hmmm, I must score 6 correct in 8 different hourly games today.

I count seven hourly games...

Obscure
Word Wizard
Expert
Easy
Hard
Fill Me In
Average

Does Quiz of the Hour Count?

Score over X points in a global challenge game today.

What sort of point ranges should we have for easier/medium/difficult, given that you get 12 shots at this.

Actually I'm going to skip that one for now. It gets very complicated with newbies and the divisions and the harder questions as you go up.

You really only get 10 shots, because "Impossible!" is pretty tough for anyone to score really well in.

Easy I think could be something like 800-1000, which would be 9 to 11 questions correct and is pretty do-able, especially on your better categories.

Medium could be 1000-1300, which would be 11 to 14 correct, and in do-able on your better categories, but not so easy on one's you're unfamiliar with (that you may try because they have * or ** next to them).

Difficult would be 1300-1450 or so for the best of them. I can get these scores on my best categories, scoring over 1300 on 2 or 3 each round maybe, and scoring over 1400 on my very best on a good category. Some people do much better than me, and I think the best could still have fun trying to reach a 15Q in under 50sec goal.

Terry, you posted again right in the middle of me typing my response...

Perhaps with the different levels, you could decrease the top score for each E/M/D by so many points.
