This thread is for those involved in the testing of the new daily challenge stuff coming soon: Wesley, Salami, Mariamir, TriviaKing, Kyle, Flopsy, KaddarsgirlEntrance: http://www.funtrivia.com/dchallengeNot working yet: spending credits to gain new challenges, FAQ. You are assigned 3 daily challenges each day, and can work through them at your own speed. At midnight your challenges expire and you are given 3 new ones. In addition, I am still adding new challenge types. When I add a new one to the system, I assign the challenge to all testers, so you can all mess with it if you want to. Feedback I'm looking for: - Any bugs. So, if you think you've completed the criteria for a challenge but it doesn't give you credit, let me know. Likewise, if it gives you credit and you haven't completed it. - Suggestions if something appears way too hard or way too easy (medium and difficult level challenges). I'm still messing with adjusting difficulty levels. To everyone else not testing: this is coming soon. It should be fun! Thanks!

Looks good! I've just done my "easy" challenge with no problems but it's my bedtime now so I look forward to seeing what tomorrow has in store. (Shame about the points, lol)

And same with Wes'. I was under the impression than once we had that it wouldn't go away. We don't have to END the day with those stats, do we?

Are our scores even the proper points apart?

They have been, twice today. The fist one reset because it was during original making-of-it-ness.
Then I was 2500 ahead, exact, and it was complete. The wording leads me to believe we should both still have it. Yet we do not.

I've completed my Easy and Medium challenges for today. I guess it's up to me to try to get the Twin Challenge one for flopsy and me, since I'm the only one still on of the pair of us. My Medium challenge, 52 correct answers in Geography seemed pretty easy. I only had to play 4 quizzes (25q, 10q, 10q, and 10q) to get the required points. So far so good on giving credit when I earned it.
Edit to update: Finished my individual Difficult challenge and won Early Bird to boot!

Just a question, how on earth does one score just a few points like one or two to be the required points?

I scored more than the required points, not the exact number. I'm pretty sure I had 9 extra.
Just read Wesley's reply, I guess it's a little unclear to me what you mean by getting exact points...
If you're referring to my Medium challenge where it says "score a total of 52 correct answers", maybe it's a bug that I got it with more than the required amount if it's supposed to be exactly 52, not at least 52.

hope afterwards no editor will just then accept one of your single Qs Been there, done that, happens all the time. None in, anyway. Thanks! Now I need a calculator to see how many more points I need.

Glad that's cleared up! I wrote my response, then realized it probably wasn't what you were referring to, and banged my head on the laptop keyboard...

I'm going to keep scoring. I am NOT staying away from the Globals. :P See if I can equal salami's score if we need to do it again.

Just completed the Twin Challenge for flopsy and me with the exact same score. That's it for me, see you all tomorrow! Everything appears to be working fine on my end, Terry.

didn't complete my Easy target in the right mode, lol. When you're doing the final layout, Terry, can you put that requirement in bold? Take pity on oldies who can't see straight and on people who don't read the question - or in my case players who fit both descriptions, lol. Epic fail. It's not just oldies, lol. I did the same thing. *facepalm* Didn't read the requirement, played in HTML. Only it didn't even tell me "play in Game Mode". Still, FAIL. :P
