I'm currently working on the "Great Setlist" Challenge and have been using the FunTrivia Homepage "Quiz Topic / Keyword:" Search to help me find the quizzes that complete the challenge. I've used it in the past to search for other quizzes and have noticed what I feel is a problem in the search/results.

I have noticed that the topic/keyword search is very inefficient at showing me quiz titles that relate to the words I have entered in the search box. With any other search box on any other site, the most relevant searches are shown first. An exact word match to what I enter in the box should be the first hit, no? It's not. It's all the way down at the very bottom of the page.

There appears to be no way to get an exact hit, like adding "s would get you, on Google, say. I'm just curious why the quiz search would be set up the way it is, with the quiz that best fits my keywords being all the way down at the bottom of the page, instead of first in the list?

Searching using FT search is not the most efficient way to do searches for some of the challenges. It works well for garden-variety searches for quizzes, however. I think the challenges are meant to be more challenging.

Still, though, whether it's for a challenge or not, the most relevant results should be at the top I think.

Quite. I think somewhere someone said something about how the system works...okay, I know that isn't helpful. :-P

But I find that if I only use one or two relevant words, it's a little better.

I made it in about 15 mins when the old one broke a few months ago. It will be fixed someday soon.

I have always been bemused that I can enter the exact title of a quiz and have it not appear on the list at all.
