Perhaps we could have a heading for specific requests, and then if anyone has the recipe it could be posted in the appropriate category?

Is there a possibility that the recipe exchange could be a separate forum?

Oh, boy his looks like fun. I should have some time tomorrow, I'll get onto it - I have a few recipes that have been requested over and over.

We have always had recipes in this forum, we will have to se how it goes as to whether it needs its own space.

I noticed that since ablesentinel hasn't posted in over a month, I'm going to take the liberty of copying over his gumbo and spicy southern black-eyed peas recipes from the Favourite Foods thread to the (I hope) appropriate area.

How about some diet friendly recipes? Low Calorie/Low Carb/Low Fat dishes. Could do them all in one to start unless they get crazy.

Looks like we could use a Fruit heading, to answer Santana2002's request.
I have a couple suggestions that I can post later, just need a place to put them.

Does anyone have a recipe for Potato Salad

I'm looking for one that I've heard referred to as Russian Potato Salad - it's got more than just the potatoes in it - like eggs, and stuff

I could go along with that wish, especially after the excesses of the last few days. Christmas day, a few days before and after, I was ill and actually lost weight, but I've made up for it in the last few days and feel the need for low cal etc.

How about "Snacks" as a category?

Snacks might fit into one of the other categories depending on what type of snack it is:

"Starters/Hors d'oeuvres" and "Cakes, pastries, cookies/biscuits" both come to mind.

How about microwave-specific recipes?
