Sat, Wall Hall looks like something I've seen in a movie. Have they used that as a movie set? Howie, I love that statue of Peter Pan. How tall is it? Lovely flower, Daniel. Everybody's photos are just fantastic. This is the bordello in the Goldfield Ghost Town.

It's the last day of Summer here. Most of the flowers have worn themselves out so the humble little New England Aster gets to show its stuff. Edit: Okay, it's the next to last day of Summer. Close enough!

ClaraSue, there is a photo of me standing next to it and the top of my head is about where Peter Pan's feet start. I am 1.78m (5'10") tall. Thanks! It's shorter than I would have thought it to be. But still tall enough.

Jakeroo, it's one of the beaches in the coastal city of Mangalore in South India. The fence separates the public part of the beach from the cargo port. My photo was actually taken on the port side. I love the contrasting blue skies in Satguru's and ClaraSue's pictures.

Awww, Lady is precious, Gees! And I love the palm trees, Zorba! Those Asters look so much like daisies, my favorite flower. Beautiful flowers, CmdrK.

I originally posted this here in April 2007 but thought it was "timely" to air it again in view of Howie's post. This is an autographed replica of Sir George Frampton's statue of Peter Pan. It is located in Queens Gardens, Perth, Western Australia. This replica was presented to the children of Western Australia in 1927 by the Rotary Club of Perth. When I was a small child, my mother and I would catch the bus to the park and have a picnic lunch. I would climb the statue and feed the ducks and the carp (they won't let you do that now of course).

Oh, Misty is precious, too! And, yes Sara, I always tear up at photos of dogs. This is Superstition Mountain, located east of Phoenix near Apache Junction.

We have had Lady for just over 10 years and the vet estimated she was about 6 months when we got her which makes her around 11 Tissues at the ready

My new camera also works at night (I haven't tried moving objects yet but supposed to manage those as well), this is the first try, the M1 motorway in a tiny village called Flamstead near Redbourn. I've got a nice view from here at the back (if you go upstairs, you can only see the house behind me otherwise) but always liked the idea of fields instead.

Geees63....awww! She's so sweet looking. Christinap, you've got a great view from your garden. Sat, I like night photos. I'm looking forward to seeing how your camera does do with moving objects.

Superstition Mountain looks like it's part of some sci-fi movie set. Nice night shot, Sat. One more little doggie to join the party.

Awww, cute puppy! You can just see how soft that fur is! Ok, so in keeping with dogs....for those of you that don't know, THIS is the real ClaraSue. She's a Shar-Pei mix that I found on the highway when she was about 8 weeks old. She's now 13 years old and the love of my life.
