That would explain it of course. I had just made a quick notice as I was also clicking through all the sets looking for more urgent issues and didn't want to put too much time on this relatively low priority one right away (since it did not actually hurt the player's ability to complete)

Just played this today and Easy and Medium achieved with little difficulty and went on to attempt the Difficult level and succeeded, but alas no badgelet awarded.

The five quizzes attempted were:

Sep 24 12 - 12:17 PM "Doctor Who": Series 5 & Part One of Series 6 Buziel Classic 8 / 10
Sep 24 12 - 12:14 PM 'The Shakespeare Code' TheCharmedOnes Classic 10 / 10
Sep 24 12 - 12:12 PM 65- 'The Three Doctors' Mattiels Classic 10 / 10
Sep 24 12 - 12:10 PM "Doctor Who" - "A Christmas Carol" drwhomad Classic 10 / 10
Sep 24 12 - 12:08 PM 'Rose' (Part 1) hrrypttrcrzy Classic 9 / 10

All were difficult or tough and met the criteria, AND were played in a row.

Bit miffed with missing out but wanted you guys to be aware of this.

What badgelet were you expecting? If it gave you a green check mark, it's complete. If it didn't give you a check mark, then you have a problem.

english_gent, "Dr. Who, a Christmas Carol" is Average, not tough. Thus it broke your winning streak. You need to play two more (the three next ones all count).

You can also attempt this challenge multiple times during the day if you miss - all that counts is to get the five in a row.

I will modify the output of that challenge to indicate which of your recent quizzes broke the chain so this type of thing doesnt keep coming up.

What badgelet are you referring to? I don't know of any badgelets that you would get for completing either the Difficult challenge or all 3 challenges.

There's also a mini for completing 7 challenges, but the earliest that can be won is tomorrow.

Thats a good idea Terry, but really was my fault for not reading the coloured word properly.

BUT just to let you know I've now succeeded in doing each one, and would like to say that this is one challenge that I feel I would come back to most days to play so thank you for setting this up Terry and other admins.

I think he was simply referring to the missing completion mark.

And yes, the first badgelets can be won tomorrow. If you manage to score 9 or higher in today's and tomorrow's games, you can buy an extra and get the seventh done. You might also get extremely lucky, receive an epic and win that one as well smile

It's right on the challenge page itself as "Daily Challenges Intro & FAQ".

It's also http://www.funtrivia.com/faq.cfm?system=3

Have fixed a couple of other minor bugs, and added the more detailed output for "in a row" challenges.

There have been several new quizzes placed online today according to the Buzz...I don't think this one will be a problem smile

LOL, George, try being this side of the pond... when we were testing the challenge, I spent many hours each day waiting for an editor to get up and get a quiz online - and then it would be some obscure pop song I never wanted to know about in the first place! Or worse, a video game. ;p

I would have loved to give you one but the only one in the queues I am working was unfortunately close but not really ready for publication.

It's fitting I first checked these challenges 25 minutes after a bunch of video games and humanities quizzes went online. Neither are my good categories, but it would have been worth a shot.

Apparently, there are challenges on the global challenge. What happens during the weeks where one GC has just finished and the other hasn't started yet?

On the "Seven Done" badgelet it says:

"Just come remember to back here and grab this badgelet when you have done your first seven challenges."

I think what was meant was: "Just remember to come back here"...

Haha laugh I especially thought it was funny that all the words were actually there, just not in the right order. Sorry in advance, Wes, for laughing at you...

The "remember to" was a late addition after the sentence didn't quite feel right without it. It just got inserted one word further to the right than it was supposed to be.
