I always remember looking forward so much to watching Andy William's show over here in England during the 1970's... I particularly recall an edition where Andy, looking resplendent in his woolen jumper, leant on the mantelpiece over a fire a gave us a wonderful rendition of 'Solitaire'... It's now over 40 years later and it still ranks among my favourite songs of all time.... Thanks Andy, Rest In Peace

I agree, oh so very "equivocial" as my Welsh friend puts it.Talk about memories of a bygone age. Yes I loved Solitaire too. He will be remembered,it's true.
