Andy Williams, who had several hits in the 1960's, including Moon River, has died. He was 84.

I always remember looking forward so much to watching Andy William's show over here in England during the 1970's... I particularly recall an edition where Andy, looking resplendent in his woolen jumper, leant on the mantelpiece over a fire a gave us a wonderful rendition of 'Solitaire'... It's now over 40 years later and it still ranks among my favourite songs of all time.... Thanks Andy, Rest In Peace
