In honour of Satguru's new camera and all those people who asked, we have
Night.
Lights out, cameras roll!

This is Krizikova Fountain in Prague during an orange phase. My good friend whom I was staying with took me there, a concert gets played and the water is used as a screen in the white phase (I had such a bad camera for night photography that the photos of the Three Tenors on the fountain did not show up particularly well). Anyway, the fountain erupts in time with the music with about 4 different coloured lights. It was very enjoyable.

The Venetian at night - the hotel where we stayed in Macau. Apparently, according to Wikipedia, it is the largest single structure hotel building in Asia, the sixth-largest building in the world by area and the largest casino in the world.

Along the same lines, here's a shot of Harrah's casino in Las Vegas, a bit down the Strip from the Las Vegas Venetian.

This is a little bit of a cheat picture, but it was taken at night, so there :P

The setup of the acoustic set at a concert of one of my favorite bands, Lacuna Coil. I got to meet them before the concert, which was an unforgettable moment!

Fabulous shot of the moon, chavs!
There was a glorious moon here last night, but my camera just isn't up to the task of taking an acceptable (let alone good) photo of it *sniff*

Love your fountain in prague, Howie,

and as for the Ha'penny Bridge, I couldn't but love your photo ertrum!

I've forgotten the rules, can we have more than one in the themes? If so I'll edit one in as I kept going well after sunset today.

Yes, we are allowed more than one per theme but I think it's limited to one picture per week.

Here's a night view of downtown Trenton, Ontario, from my vantage point in the back seat of my sister's car. This was just about an hour and a half ago.

I think this is dark enough for everyone... How I got anything at all with no street lighting is probably as the sky wasn't quite black yet but everything else was. That street in Ontario could be Streatham or Tooting if they had pitched rooves, but I far prefer the look of your flat ones.

Moon again, not very imaginative lol! 31st October. Camera on a slant unfortunately but it's shining on the sea and there's Jupiter too (or Venus but I think it's Jupiter) beside it.

The camera I had when travelling was just a basic level entry camera that did not take decent night photos mostly. On occasion one did come out quite well like this view of the Hohensalzburg Fortress/Castle in Salzburg, Austria.

We stayed at this hotel in Hong Kong - I don't like heights so getting into those glass elevators that travel up and down on the outside of the building was quite scary at first but I got used to it after a few days.

Chavs, that is a very neat photo!

In looking at this month's theme, I have found that it's best viewed with no other lights on in the house around me in order to get the full effect.

I love the starburst pattern given off my solar lights. The walkway leading to my front door is filled with these patterns.

Wow lovely pictures. smile

This one was taken from near the old racecourse at Oswestry which is on a hill above the town.
