When I started playing in earnest in March, I noticed that my Mac's clock was pretty much in time with FunTrivia's clock.

Since the change from Daylight to Standard time, however, I notice quite a difference. The FT clock is ahead by about 45 seconds (or more), which has tripped me up a few times already playing some of the hourly games.

So, firstly, what happened? And secondly, how might I synchronize my computer's clock with FunTrivia's. Be as technical as necessary. Thanks. grin

I have also noticed that the day is ending almost ten minutes earlier. The points for the day are up already at 11:50.

Points for the day have been scored at 11:50 for quite a while.

The clock has been off, though. Crysal ball gives the third letter almost a minute early. Funtrivia is running fast...

But yes, the day ends 10 minutes early intentionally, and has so for some time.

Both my laptop (Windows 7) and desktop (XP) are running behind FT since the time change.

I don't think it's the time change, it's been going on for longer than that. Time for someone to check the battery in the server maybe.

I've reset my computer clock 3 times to internet time in the last few days. FT seems to be out of sync by being a minute fast. The switch over of the PoC game is at XX:29 internet time for me. FT thinks it's XX:30.

It makes it tricky to time crystal ball at the :55... I often go to check and my clock says :54 and it is just turning to :55, but it says someone already won the word at :56. A bit frustrating, to say the least. I had been doing well timing it to check it early to be at :55, when the clock says :54, but the time keeps getting worse and worse... Not a HUGE issue, necessarily, but certainly a nuisance.

The FT clock always used to correspond to the second with the time from the UK atomic clock; it no longer does.

FT may be running on SST (Server Savings Time). But we all know that the clocks are controlled by Bill Gates, which could be a good thing, having the whole world running on the same watch which we could never do before.

Looks like the crystal ball just added the letter at 0.55 again before I checked so seems to have done the job.

The minute change seems accurate again (+/- about 2 seconds while my screen refreshes).

Hi. I've just noticed that the server clock may be running a little fast again. Can anyone check that? It caused me not to get my score counted in a game.

No, it's running fast for me, too. By about 20 seconds at least. I just tried, too. I click refresh on the buzz until it reached 11:00, and the real time was :59 for another 22 seconds (by my count).
