Saw Leonard Cohen last night - what an elegant old guy, and he had the audience in the palm of his hand. A black suit and a trilby hat, and a voice that has lost a bit up top, but seems to have gained something in the lower register.

Seen anybody wonderful lately?

How sad, I can't even remember the last time I attended a concert. I'd give my eye-teeth to see Leonard Cohen though. Lucky you!

In the space of 2 days, I saw Status Quo and Leo Sayer! I saw Leo a year or so ago, but it's the first time I'd seen Quo, and , even in his 60s, Francis Rossi has got it! Fantastic!

I saw Celtic Woman just a couple of weeks ago. They're absolutely wonderful singers, and the fiddler is not only terrific, she manages to play while dancing and jumping all around the stage. Irish dancers, celtic instruments, contemporary and folk music...great show!

I won tickets on the radio recently to see Sir Bob Geldof and the Boomtown Rats. Although I am not a huge fan, I was looking forward to going, however, the Australian tour was cancelled because of lack of interest. Apparently they just couldn't sell the tickets, even after they combined the concerts with those of other artists such as Eurogliders and Mental as Anything. The radio station hasn't decided what they are going to give me as a prize in lieu of this one - I gave them the hint that I would not be upset if I got tickets to the upcoming Bon Jovi concert instead! smilee
