A couple of members of my team use an Ipad to play funtrivia. They are having trouble playing crosswords as they don't seem to load properly.

One of the players thinks it's because Ipads don't support flash mode. Is that correct?

Yes, that s correct. You'll have to find a computer to play crosswords on.

You can't play the four global quizzes on an iPad, either. It took me a while to discover the reason, because the page would just be a blank blue screen when you clicked on one of those quizzes.

It's a little upsetting... There are quite a few things I wish my iPad would let me do but doesn't. I wish they would get with the program and use Flash.

They won't use Flash because Steve Jobs/Apple and Adobe didn't/don't get along. It has nothing to do with whether the iPhone/iPad could have been designed to use Flash and is everything to do with the fact that Jobs would not let that happen. But now the iPhone/iPads have gone along that separate route it's unlikely they'll rewrite the whole operating system to suit a few crossword players.

I know, but shouldn't they put aside their petty differences and make more customers happy?

If it makes anyone happy (versus Ipad users and non Ipad users), I can't play Flash on my Android which also prevented me from doing an Epic challenge, which requires Flash.
