Yep...One Australian cricketer I (and I am sure, most Indians) loved to hate! for his never-say-die spirit and ever willingness to fight He was a terific batsman and easily among the 3 best in the last 20 years....he will be missed, but at least he knew when to move on *sigh*

He's in for his last innings. Very classy of the Saffers to have a guard of honour for Ponting. I have never seen that before from an opposing team .. is it common? Or the cynic in me thinks perhaps it is to unsettle him a bit more?
