That's the promotional Lucky Duck... Whoever can attack the duck while under the bridge and pin it to their profiles will be the new holder of the duck.

Alternately, this is the mother of all lucky ducks on our profiles. smile

Aww smile That reminds me of when a couple of DJs on morning radio here is Sydney told everyone they were going to put a Jumbo under the bridge. Everyone assumed they meant a Jumbo jet. Click here, and then scroll down just a little to click the picture of the Harbour Bridge to see what really went under the bridge.

A duck going from the Isle of Dogs to Canary Wharf? Sounds like the start of a good joke. smile

lol at all of you on this page. And in the FT context, even cuter/more amusing than the infamous travelling squirrel

Another one is coming to Sydney soon. I hope it survives its stint in the Parramatta River. I might even take some photos before it explodes. smile

It was fine when it was in London - I don't think it likes Chinese food.

You'd have thought it would be more likely to explode after a stodgy diet of fish and chips or toad in the hole than after a Chinese meal, though.

I don't think it's the 'type' of food. In my opinion, it's the 'quantity' that is the problem. Everyone seems to just love feeding the ducky, without regard to mealtimes. tongue

It's more likely all this hot air it has to breathe that has led to loss of duckie. You don't have these problems with modern holographic ducks. You just have to watch out that the lasers don't fall into the tub with you.

Sounds like a song title, rossian. Or a quiz author challenge title.
