Post a picture, starting on Tuesday, of something new to start us off in the New Year. Take the title any way you like.
The last Year was so great for this forum . I cant thank you all enough for your support, your friendliness and your great photos.

Please excuse me for posting the opposite of what was asked for but as midnight struck last night I took this photo of a bin on the street. Someone was eager to conform to the old saying "out with the old..."

..so now, in with the new.

My new headphones. My other half got fed up with me constantly moaning because the ear bud things kept falling out so went out and bought me these.

New Year's resolution for a New me: shed some of those kilos newly acquired. Here are my "tools of the trade", my trusty trainers, food diary and weighing scales:

And if I may add my best wishes to all our photo forum members for a happy, healthy and successful new year to you! I'm eagerly anticipating discovering the new photographic delights you are sure to post here throughout the year to come!

*New* back door & windows - installed in November and definitely an improvement on the olde,
warped wooden ones!

(Note reflection of cameraman in the glass. Very unprofessional!)

Thanks all for the photos for the theme "New", which I am now closing.
The new theme of "Snake"is not as restrictive as it seems.
Snake can be an animal, yes, but it can describe , say for instance, the journey of a river or stream, a train, a road-anything, in fact that 'moves in long twisting curves."
I chose this one as the New Chinese Year is for the Snake, so any decorations for that celebration would also fit the theme. Thanksssssssssss all !
