Chrome is giving me a Malware Warning, and refusing to open page 41 of the thread 'New round of badges added'. It says:

"Content from www.two peas in a bucket.com, a known malware distributor, has been inserted into this web page. Visiting this page now is very likely to infect your computer with malware."

Edit Reason: I put spaces into the web address, just in case anyone clicked on it.

The problem was due to one user avatar image being hosted on that site. It has been removed and a safe copy of the picture (which itself was harmless) was sent to the user for reuploading to a safer place.

You should now be able to view the thread.

I just discovered the same thing trying to access Page 1 of the "Which Badges are Difficult to Get?" thread on the General chat board.

Can't do anything about that one - on the main site chat boards, old avatars don't get replaced if a user's avatar is changed (in fact, the user no longer has an avatar). Terry would have to run through this with a query and remove it from all posts it's in.

Terry - the user is #1672780 (I'm not putting the name in public even though it's not his/her fault).

Thanks Wes for the quick fix. Now I can go through the replies in that thread again to hunt for possible clues for the winner badgelet. :p

wow, how annoying that a hosted image could interrupt our pages.

It's not twopeas, but a different server (I also get a malware warning, but only when I try to view the image alone). But you seem to have found it...

Looks like Chrome has suddenly flagged a bunch of legitimate sites as being malware. Google oops.

Seems the pages had content injected in December - there's been quite a wave of normally reputable sites that had been hacked in that time to distribute malware. It takes several weeks for a site to be de-blacklisted once they got hit.
