I've been here for a couple of years now. During that time I've messaged and interacted with a great many of you, both editors, moderators and general members.

We all, or most of us, have an avatar, but what do we really look like? Is there anywhere within funtrivia where members can actually put a name to a face? If not, I think there should be! I'd like to see what my fellow team members look like and I'd also like to be able to put a face to a name when I submit a quiz to an editor...

It might be fun!

I wouldn't mind a forum category where we can post pictures of ourselves. I've been on this site off and on for about 10 years, and I don't think anyone knows what I look like. :P

Plus, I'd like to see what other members look like. Maybe someone out there has a doppelgänger nobody knows about. Haha.

live4trivia you can always put your photo as your avatar in the forums, you don't need to be a gold member or anything like that. My avatar is me, Ren's is her.

Size a photo in Photobucket then in your profile you use the Photobucket code in he avatar section.

We set up a photobucket account for our team so we could exchange photos of things of interest, as a repository of our avatar images and to post pix of ourselves. You'd be surprised how many would rather remain anonymous, without their real faces known and be tied to the image they use as an avatar when thought of here. People just love to escape!

I can understand people wanting to remain anonymous. I had an incident a few years ago. I was on a social site, someone stole my pictures. They claimed they were me, and even put my pictures on a porn site. ;o

I reported this person, and now everytime I put pictures of myself on the internet - I watermark them. My avatar is now of myself, watermarked and all. Haha.

Wow, good to see you at last, it's only been about 9 years! My full picture is on quizzyland, here I can just be seen standing in for Data on the bridge with Picard next to me and Worf in the background. Besides being a massive fan, having sat in the theatre in front of Patrick Stewart I found this a fitting tribute.

And I definitely prefer to remain anonymous. My avatars are a photo I took of my alter ego - Lottie the elephant!

In the FT Quizzyland area, Gold is needed to present your own avatar.
In the Forums area, everyone can upload an avatar.
You can take off the paperbag here.

Cant find any way to do that, not being a computer genius - so "If I first you don't succeed - give up", prevails as patience has never been one of my more noticeable virtues.

C30, go to My Stuff at the top of the screen, then Edit Profile from the list, then scroll down and you will see the option to add an avatar. You can either use one of your own or can use a stock avatar.

Cool now we can know a lot more people.
