Honey softens and moisturizes for a healthy complexion. Beekeepers' hands are often noted as being soft and smooth during honey season.

To take advantage of honey's skin softening potential, splash warm water on your face to open the pores. Then apply a thin honey mask, wash it off, and finish with a bit of cold water. Dry skin cells plump up and wrinkles tend to smooth away.

Dairy cream, whipped egg white, fresh lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, or any fruit juice may be mixed into your honey mask.

Great tip Dreamweave. It is never too early to start taking care of your skin. I am going to try this one this weekend.

It gets a bit messy (and probably worthwhile showering it off and washing your hair at the same too) but I've found it leaves my skin feeling much smoother and, well, happier!

How'd your facial go Jo?

Just throw in some raisins, flour, and eggs, and you've got an entire meal

Speaking of almost having a meal Terry, you can add oatmeal to the list.

Dreamweave before I did the facial I exfoliated my skin first with an oatmeal facial scrub by mixing a little oatmeal with water or egg whites applied it to my face, and scrubbed. I concentrate on the areas that need the most exfoliating, like around the nose and mouth. I let it dry for about 15-20 minutes, then rinsed with warm water. Then I tried your tip. My face feels smooth as silk. Thanks DW.

Here's another one Dreamweave

WRINKLE CREAM (To remove wrinkles)
2 tablespoons cocoa butter
4 tablespoon almond oil
2 tablespoon lanolin
Melt these over low heat and remove from fire. Add 1 tablespoon rosewater and glycerin and 1/2 teaspoon honey. Cool and beat hard until creamy. Store in jar and apply nightly for improvement. (3 drops tincture of benzoin may be added in place of honey, if desired.)

Terry, I thought about your comment above this mornng while I was giving myself a facial scrub with oatmeal, honey, and brown sugar. I was tempted to eat it instead of putting it on my face. lol
