spanishliz Star Poster Registered: Thu Dec 13 2001 Posts: 17104 Loc: Ontario Canada	The first round of the 2013 F1 World Championships is on 17th March. Please reply to this thread to sign up. Rules: Pick 3 drivers for each race. Points will be awarded based on the points your picks receive for the race. For each race, five drivers will be designated as 'Seeded Drivers'. Only half-points will be awarded for these drivers. Default scores will be based on your picks for the previous race, with half-points for seeds applying. I always make note when somebody does pick the podium, so it would be easy enough to add on. The hardest part would be working out how to fit it into the results display Just for fun I've just checked last year's stats on this. Nobody picked the podium in the first half of the season, then folks went crazy with podium picks in six of the last eight races. Korea and Abu Dhabi had multiple podium picks. Only one podium pick did not result in a Hall of Fame entry. AlonsoKing, PaulE and Sypher each did the feat twice. George95, gtho4, N-Bomb, srini701 and szabs did it once each. Awarding a point for each podium pick would have made no difference at all to the standings, at least at the top of the field.

Like we do in other comps, you can always have a separate "BP" column at the end and every round that you award the points, you can indicate next to the person's name with a 'b' that they won bonus points.
