My Gold membership expired and I cannot renew it until Friday. Will all my stats be restored when I renew?

I need to purchase a gold membership for an existing member, but since I am already a gold member, it is not giving me the option to purchase. How can I do this? It used to be easier. The member I am sponsoring is Mariamir.

Thanks,

Sue

Under the Services section on the main page there is a section called something like purchase and activate gold memberships. You can buy one there, and then send the activation code to Mariamir.

That is correct, you can buy a gift certificate.

For those who are wondering how they might do this anonymously, I, and probably other administrators will act as a gobetween with you sending us the certificate number, and the 'correct' username of the intended recipient and any message. I stress the correct username as it is very easy to get it slightly wrong. smile

Sue has been the gobetween for me twice. I still have no idea who was/were the donor(s). It's really neat to have an anonymous donation, and it's pretty cool that Sue can be the gobetween in that respect.

Wait a minute s_s, you mean someone is paying you to beat me up in the games? That makes you a professional hitman, doesn't it? Is that legal?

I've had quite a few, some anonymous, some not - the last person to give me some gave me several in one go. The last one expires in April. Just saying. wink grin

If that is indeed their intent, I suppose. wink

Yes, I want to know who gifted me gold membership all that time ago. I want to hug them.

It never fails to amaze me when I see the generosity of some of our members, I have even had people giving gold memberships to members of teams other than their own. smile

I wish I had the luck of such lucky receivers and in the eye of some generous donors.

It's probably a lot more fun to do it anonymously, that way no one feels beholden to anyone else, and everyone feels good. We've had several anonymous gifts of GM within my team, it is rather lovely to think someone values your contribution and company. smile
