Another photo of Goose Bay on the Kaikoura Coast of the South Island, this time looking north. The main highway is between the bottom of the hill and the ocean, a beautiful though winding drive along the coast.

Thanks Dot for showing us the bluebells on the hillfort, just looks like a carpet of them.

Thoroughly enjoyed all of the varied photos this month once again. Thanks to you all.

So did I Tekka! Thanks to you all as always. Howie the more I see of NZ the more I think of England. Lots of it seems so similar and I am sure nearly as beautiful!
When I see the lovely greenness of England that David and others bring us, I am looking forward more than ever to my trip there next month.

Wow!

A triptych of beautiful views.

Edit:

More starlings! laugh

Chicks (front) and adults. 5 in this photo, I count, but there were many more - quite a flock of them. They de-slugged the area in minutes. Very kind.

I love that photo, Howie, in fact I wish I'd taken it. Some day, when I win the lottery... New Zealand, watch out!

Beautiful photos, Howie. Lovely everyone.

My irises haven't bloomed yet (probably won't) but I spotted this one when out for a walk today.
