Here's a view of the Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge from Hoover Dam. I had no desire to drive over that bridge. smile

CmdrK, I try not to think how high we are when we go over the bridge.

Here's a photo I took (and showed here are few years ago) of the Pat Tillman bridge being built. I told myself then I wouldn't drive across it when it was finished, but it beats making a long detour to get to Las Vegas, NV from our house in Arizona. Actually, when you're on the new bridge, you have no idea it's that high because you can't see over the edge. Thank goodness. smile

This statue of William III (William of Orange) is located at the
harboUr at Brixham, Devon where his forces landed in 1688 to
depose James II.
He's not looking too happy, I suspect heartburn from his pose.

When I went to the Olympics and Paralympics last year I was fascinated by the small remote-controlled Minis they used to collect the discus and javelins and return them to the athletes. At the Anniversary Games this weekend, which were sponsored by one of the UK's largest supermarket chains, the javelins were collected by miniature versions of their delivery vans.

Lovely sunset Howie, and that looks very much like the view from here except the bungalows aren't wooden.

Heavy clouds over Windrush in the Cotswolds.
