Rugby Union: British and Irish Lions question - Sat Jun 22 2013 04:17 AM

Just watching the start of the Lions v Wallabies match but missed the lead up and I have a question that is causing some discussion in the house.

So if anyone watched it ...
What National Anthem did they sing for the Lions?

According to Wikipedia, it's something called "The Power of Four". I can't say I'd ever heard of it.

Edited to add: Actually, it seems that this "anthem" has been abandoned and there isn't currently a Lions anthem at all.

Good result for the Lions, although a very close game

Will have to watch it next week and see what they do for the anthem smile

as for the game .. Lions were the better team I think but Australia lost it at the end. I don't think Beale is going to be sleeping too well tonight.

I enjoyed what I saw of it. The Lions are a good unit but Australia had the best two players in Genia and Folau. That first try was astonishingly good.

It's going to be a very good and very close series I think.
