I really enjoy this show, everybody seems to have a fun times testing out various myths, they're like kids set loose in a toy store.
I have to admit that i was most surprised about the reaction of the elephants to the mice, i didn't see that one coming.
What i would like to know is what myths were you most surprised to have proved plausible or confirmed?

Steel-toed boots. They effectively proved the myth wrong that steel-toed boots would cut off your toes if a heavy object landed on them. What it showed is that without them, your toes could be smashed beyond all recognition and that the boots do work. I've spoken to many guys who say they'd rather have their toes smashed than cut off. Really? Once they're smashed that bad, they have to be cut off anyway. Break open your wallets and buy the danged things. I knew they worked and I point out to many that this show proved me right.

Ok, I have to admit that I really don't watch the show all that often but that one stands out in my mind the most when thinking on it.

The one that surprised me the most was definitely "bull in a china shop". I never expected that result and it's one of the craziest things I've ever seen.

Ping-pong balls being used to raise a sunken boat. I did not give that a chance of working, but it did!

I reckon the guys on Mythbusters, as well as the blokes on the British Top Gear, have the best jobs in the world. You either get to drive great cars that the average person will never have the chance to drive, or you get to blow things up. Sounds marvellous! laugh
