Into a lot of things, except sport, politics and television (haven't got one - don't want one - why do people keep trying to give me them?). Especially into music (playing or listening), reading (Pratchett, Eddings, Heinlein, so-called fantasy and other stuff - New Scientist, history, language, oh, all sorts except sport, etc) and writing (children's stories mostly - currently just finished the second book of a biggish fantasy series and started on the third, a new one (more like SF) which I hope will be only one book, working on two for younger readers, and starting to look for publishers - and short plays). Also into producing other people's books - layout, etc, and typing the music out for a new series of self-tutor books (contact me for details - first one is out: D/G Melodeon). Rarely bored as long as there's something to read - even sauce bottle labels - or write on. Regarded as an expert in many things by some, and as a total idiot by others. Not sure which is right. Could be both. Find it difficult to be serious for very long, too. You have been warned. PS: It used to say at the top of this that I was from Southport, UK. I still am. Something must have eaten that bit. It seems to have reappeared now in this posh new format. Then I put Merseyside in, and the Southport went again. Can't win... Yay! Yes I can. Got both now. My real name isn't 'Anonymous', by the way. Ann O'Nymous is a cousin of mine, and I'm not saying who I am. I might do when I find out... Have decided to come out as a male as N/A might be mistaken for Not Applicable rather than Not Available (also incorrect). That isn't really me in the little pic, although I posed for the artist to get the hands the right way round. It was her first commission.
