Correction Notes
|
Players: When sending a correction note to the creator of a quiz, please be civil. Rude and offensive messages (whether or not you know the recipient) will be reported to the webmaster, and could result in your suspension, or ejection, from this site ... all messages (whether or not they are corection notes) sent between players in Quizzyland are visible to the editors. Please do not send correction notes such as 'are you sure your answer on Einstein is correct, I think you might be wrong, can you please check it' as it's going nowhere. The creator may have spent many hours researching and writing the quiz. There's a good chance that a correction note along those lines will be deleted by an editor before a creator see it. You should be certain your information is correct, identify the precise error and, if at all possible, specify the question number. Each and every correction note is evaluated and followed up. Authors: From the webmaster: 'Games that receive lots of reported errors from players will be taken offline automatically by the system. Please fix any errors that are reported quickly so that other players don't have to sift through incorrect questions or answers.' If you receive a correction notice, determine whether or not the correction is valid, make the correction, and respond that you have corrected, If it is not an error, respond that it is not an error. If you do not respond, the editors will assume that you are ignoring the correction and your quiz may be taken off-line. Do not respond that you have corrected the error unless you actually have. This will not get your quiz back online any faster, it'll only waste your time and an editor's, when he or she realizes what you've done. 16-Nov-01
