The Australian rock band AC/DC was formed in 1973 by two brothers and guitarists, Malcolm and Angus Young. They became immensely popular with a lineup including Phil Rudd on drums, Mark Evans on bass and Bon Scott doing the lead vocals. After enjoying several hits and replacing Evans with Cliff Williams, tragedy struck when Bon Scott died unexpectedly in 1980. AC/DC brought in Brian Johnson to sing, replaced Rudd with Simon Wright, and kept right on releasing hits. Though their drummers continued to change - first to Chris Slade, then back to Rudd - AC/DC made a comeback in 1995. Test your knowledge of this enduringly popular group!
