The Ohio is 981 miles long, and is formed at the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The name means "great or beautiful river," but has been called the "dark and bloody river" from the history of struggles between Native Americans and whites along its length.

No joke, although it certainly sounds like I'm laughing at you. "Ha-ha" is straight from the French, and also spelled haw-haw. Its name may have come from the exclamation made when one comes upon such a fence blocking the way.

Yup, the same three letters as that Vietnamese city. But they are not pronounced at all alike. Hue, VN is (I think) "Way." Hue, the color is "hew."

Yes, it's the same as the adhesive company. In fact the company named itself for the bird which still lived in the Black Forest in 1932. The company history says that in the 1930's it was common to name office products for birds. The owl says: "oohu!"
