The Basenji is a hunting dog that originated in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This sighthound is often referred to as the "barkless dog" because the sound it makes sounds more like a yodel. This medium-sized brown and white dog has upright ears and a short tail that curls over its back.

The Weimaraner is a large, grey hunting dog used by German royalty to hunt large prey such as deer and wild boar. This is an athletic dog which needs exercise and lots of playtime. It is a family dog which craves human attention and does not do well when ignored or kenneled.

An experienced owner is recommended for this breed.

The collie is a herding breed that has its origins in the British Isles.
