Answer: Halibut

The halibut is a flatfish that lives near the bottoms of both the North Atlantic and the North Pacific Oceans. Halibut eat any other sea-life that is small enough to fit into their mouths, including other fish, mollusks, and invertebrates. These voracious eaters can grow as large as 730 lbs. (333kg). An unusual feature about the halibut is that when they are born they swim in the same manner as a mid-water fish and have one eye on each side of their head.

At about six months of age they begin to swim on their side like other flatfish and one eye migrates to the other side of the head so that both eyes face up.

There are many types of catfish and they are known for sporting barbels which look a lot like a cat's whiskers. Catfish will eat almost anything and can be found in every continent except Antarctica. They are able to tolerate fresh and salt water. They range in size from under an inch to as long as 8.2 ft.(2.5m). Specimens have been found that exceed 650 lbs. (293kg).

The catfish is an important part of the human diet in many parts of the world.

The marlin is a large fish that can be 20 ft. (6m) long. They are known to swim at speeds exceeding 68 mph. The king mackerel can grow to 90 lbs (45kg), and is fished extensively. Known to put up a very determined fight, it is very popular among sport fisherman who fish warmer waters.

Pollock have a strong flavor and have been hunted as food for centuries. Usually found in cooler saltwater areas they can grow as large as 46 lbs (21kg). They are commonly used in prepared fish products such as fish sticks and fish fingers. They are often used to make imitation crab meat.

Anchovies are a small, oily fish found in the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans. Anchovies are slender fish that rarely exceed 16 inches (40 cm) in length. They prefer warmer waters but are very adaptable to a variety of temperatures and salinity. An important food fish for the human population, they are also a very popular food source for larger fish, sharks, marine mammals and seabirds.
10. OUPE

Answer: Grouper

Groupers are stout, heavy fish with unusually large mouths. They use this mouth to swallow their food whole as opposed to biting pieces off. They love to eat squid, octopus, and other fish. These fish use ambush hunting techniques and are slow swimmers who do not venture far from home. Their delicious flavor has made them one of the most popular game fish.
