His hit, the Jimmie Webb penned "McArthur Park," reached # 2 on the charts. Harris only had 3 more small hits. His acting career never faltered though, and his talent was recognized with Oscar and Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe "Best Actor" win for "Camelot."

The son of famous character actor John Carradine (and brother to David), Keith was one of the many co-stars of the film "Nashville". Though the film was loaded with music, Keith was the only one to see any chart action. This, his only hit, reached # 17.

The song was "The Ballad of Thunder Road." Mitchum wanted Elvis to co-star in "Thunder Road" but couldn't meet Colonel Parker's salary demands. "The Ballad of Thunder Road" returned to the charts as a minor hit in 1962.

Lee Marvin's song "Wanderin' Star" from the film "Paint Your Wagon" earned him a gold record. The "flip-side" of the record had Clint Eastwood singing "I Talk to the Trees." Lee played two characters in the film "Cat Ballou" but only won one Oscar for it.
