Chris Carter created "The X-Files", he also produced and directed several episodes. Cris Carter was a leading receiver for the Viking's for years. He retired in 2002, but signed with the Miami Dolphins midway through the 2002-03 season.

In 2002-03 there were actually two players named Brian Williams on the Minnesota Vikings and one Brian Williams on the Detroit Lions, but none of them were running backs. There were also multiple Steve Smiths, Marcus Bells, Ron Johnsons, David Terrells, Eddie Johnson, Brandon Moores and Chris Browns.
