Ed and his brothers (The Ames Brothers) were a highly successful quartet in the '50s. As an actor he's perhaps best known for his role as Mingo on the TV series "Daniel Boone." In 1965 Ed demonstrated his tomahawk throwing skills on the "Tonight Show." Ouch!
