Sutton understudied the role of Eponine in the Broadway production, and also was featured in the ensemble. The original run of "Les Miserables" was from March 12, 1987 to May 18, 2003. However, her debut role was in "Grease!" (in 1996), which ran from May 11, 1994 to January 25, 1998. She played the role of Sandy.
