Jane Seymour was born Joyce Penelope Wilhelmina Frankenberg on 15 February 1951. She took her stage name from the third wife of Henry VIII. She famously played the role of Solitaire in the James Bond film "Live and Let Die" (1973). She also appeared as Dr Michaela "Mike" Quinn in the acclaimed television show "Dr Quinn - Medicine Woman".

Eleanor Fagan was born on 7 April 1915 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She went to stay in Baltimore with her mother's half sister while her mother took jobs on passenger railways. In early 1929 she moved to Harlem to join her mother where she began singing in a variety of night clubs.

She made her recording debut at 18. Her tragically short life was marred by alcohol abuse, drug addiction and relationships with abusive partners. Her death on July 17, 1959 was caused by cirrhosis of the liver and other complications.

Martha Jane Canary (or possibly Cannary) was born on 1 May 1852 in Missouri. The details of her early life are obscure. At the age of 12 she traveled to South Dakota where she met Wild Bill Hickok in Deadwood and began appearing in Wild West shows. In 1895, she joined Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show performing sharpshooting while sitting astride a horse. She died in July 1903.

Michael Landon was born Eugene Maurice Orowitz on 31 October 1936 in Queens, New York. He selected Landon as his stage name by choosing a name at random from a telephone directory. He played the part of Little Joe Cartwright in "Bonanza" before taking the role of Charles Ingalls in "Little House on the Prairie".

As well as acting in the series, he was also the executive, writer and producer. Landon was married three times and had nine children. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in February 1991 and died the following July, aged 54.
