When there is no rain in India, he is sent to find a village of madmen where a voice brings rain. Obviously, he landed up in 'that village we know so much about'.

Answer: desert

When Asterix and Obelix were attacked by various Nomadian groups thinking them to be their rivals, he calls each of them crazy in turn. Finally, when he finds the desert to be too hot by day and too cold in the night, he says, in his usual manner, "This desert is crazy!". Still later, when Asterix loses his temper due to the heat, he says, "This Gaul is crazy!"

3. Is there any two specific letters in which Indian names in the comics end?
