Answer: Vaughan, Ontario, Canada

Vaughan, Ontario, Canada is near northern Toronto and that is why people think it is there. It is a fairly large park compared to some of the other Canadian parks like, Confederation Park and The X.
2. Canada's Wonderland has more than 200 attractions.

Answer: True

Out of the 200 attractions 60 are thrill rides, 14 roller coasters and 16 water slides. These attractions are in 4 zones; medieval fair, junior, grande world exposition and international festival. Almost all of the Paramount parks have a roller coaster called Top Gun, it's one of the fastest rides in the park.
3. Did Wayne Gretzky go to Canada's Wonderland's opening.

Answer: Yes

The park opened on May 23, 1981. The Premier of Ontario, William Davis was the person who officially opened the park. Gretzky helped raise the Canadian flag. There were also 100 helium balloons, 13 parachutists, 350 white doves and a pipe band at the opening.
4. When did the official construction (not the proposal) start on the park?

Answer: 1979

The park was originally proposed in 1972, and in 1981 the park officially opened. Back then there weren't nearly as many rides. The only ride still around from 1981 is the wooden roller coaster, the Wild Beast.

Canada's Wonderland has six water slides: Black Hole, The Plunge, Super Soaker, Body Blast, Riptide Racer, Barracuda Blaster, Whirlwinds, and Splash Island Waterways. These rides are open only in the summer time.

Answer: Paramount's Hollywood Stunt Spectacular

Canada's Wonderland is not owned be Paramount any more, and 2007 has a lot of the past attractions (before Paramount) in it.

The rock wall was built in 1998.

In 2006 Paramount sold the park. The park has only been in two shows on TV, "The Littlest Hobo" and "Electric Circus".
10. What is the tower like ride called?

Answer: Drop Zone

There is a story of Drop Zone being stuck by lightning when it was first built in 1997. The story goes that the storm came out of nowhere and the Drop Zone acted like a lightning rod. They say the 5 kids and 3 adults on the ride at the time died.
