Reb Brown (born 1948) is a former football player and actor who also appeared in the films "Space Mutiny" (1988) and "Cage" (1989). The two television movies were set in the Nineteen Seventies with the first broadcast in a two hour block and the second for one hour on each of two separate nights.

In the films, Reb Brown portrays Steve Rogers who is the son of the original Captain America.

In this 15 chapter Republic movie serial from 1944, Captain America's secret identity is District Attorney Grant Gardner rather than Steve Rogers. In the serial, Captain America investigates a rash of suicides caused by a hypnotic chemical released by the villainous Scarab. Captain America was portrayed by Dick Purcell (1908-1944), a film actor of the 1930s and 1940s. Possessed of a less than impressive physique for an actor portraying a superhero, Dick Purcell died a few weeks after filming for the serial wrapped.
