Jessica Fletcher, played by Angela Lansbury, is the main character in the series "Murder, She Wrote". Jessica was a retired English teacher turned mystery novelist. She lived in a tiny seaside town called Cabot Cove. A running gag on the series is that Cabot Cove is where people go to be murdered.

The town only has a couple of hundred people put has a lot of murders. In fact, wherever in the world Jessica visits, she comes across at least one murder if not more and several other crimes.
2. Billy Bigelow is a Maine carnival barker in which musical by Rodgers and Hammerstein?

Answer: Carousel

"Carousel" takes place in a small town on the Maine coastline. Billy Bigelow meets Julie Jordan and the two strike up something of a relationship. Billy is fired after getting into an argument with his boss about Julie and Julie is fired from her job for staying out after hours with Billy.

Later, Billy and Julie are married and expecting. Both are still unemployed so Billy participates in a robbery with his suspicious friend Jigger.

Charles Nelson Reilly plays Claymore Gregg, the captain's great nephew and owner of the cottage. Claymore is terrified of the ghost in comedic fashion.

The Collins family often experienced unusual supernatural occurrences and other outlandish plots in which Barnabas would have to rescue them from.

Netflix created two miniseries adapted from the film starring the original cast.
