Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Matt Murdock may look like a lawyer, but he is also what superhero who has at least four ultra-powerful senses?

Answer: Daredevil

Daredevil appeared in the Marvel comics universe in 1964. Murdock was blinded in an radioactive accident as a child, and at the same time, developed other super-heightened senses. When his father was killed by a corrupt gangster, Murdock transformed into Daredevil to seek revenge. From then on, he lived as a lawyer in his regular life, and as Daredevil in his secret one.

Daredevil has appeared in more media than comics since his debut, including film, television, and video games.

After law school, V.I. was a public defender before turning to private investigation. She often faces some nasty bad guys, and defends herself with karate or a firearm. She was created by American crime writer Sara Paretsky, who adopted Chicago as her hometown.

Answer: Tom Robinson

"To Kill a Mockingbird" is one of the most important books in the canon of American literature. The story encompasses many elements, including Scout's coming of age, pervasive racism, and integrity under pressure. John Jay Osborn, Jr. wrote his novel "The Paper Chase" while a third-year law student at Harvard, and reportedly based the brilliant, sarcastic, and intimidating character Professor Charles Kingsfield on several of his own Harvard professors. Answer: Cape

"The Chinese Woman," like almost every Seinfeld episode, has several storylines going simultaneously. One relates to George's father talking with a man wearing a cape, who turns out to be his lawyer. The lawyer was played by Larry David, who co-created the show and appears in several episodes in tiny roles, often uncredited.

8. The original "Law and Order" series had three lead prosecutors during its 20-season run. Can you name them?

Answer: Ben Stone, Jack McCoy, Mike Cutter

When "Law and Order" premiered in 1990, Ben Stone was the lead prosecutor. He had a modest, dusky civil servant workspace in the district attorney's office. He quit the legal profession at the end of season four when he feels responsible for the death of one of his witnesses. Stone was replaced by Jack McCoy, who had a much more lush office, and who held the position of lead prosecutor and executive assistant district attorney until season 9, when he became District Attorney. At that point, Mike Cutter took over as lead prosecutor.
