"Fatal Attraction" starring Glenn Close (Alex Forrest), Anne Archer (Beth Gallagher), and Michael Douglas (Dan Gallagher) showed how a "weekend affair" could go awry. He also starred in "Wall Street," but that was about greed. Then again, isn't this? ;)

The song "I Melt With You" by Modern English was the theme song from a movie, in which a young Nicolas Cage tries to win the affection of his "Valley Girl" despite his "Non-Valley Boy" ways. His career turned upwards from this point.
5. 1980's Sports: Which team performed the Super Bowl shuffle in the mid 1980's?

Answer: Chicago Bears

After the 1985 NFL Season, in January of 1986, the Chicago Bears led by their "punky QB" Jim McMahon performed the Super Bowl shuffle before a trouncing of the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XX, 46-10 in New Orleans. It would be the only title the Bears would get in that decade or the decade after it.

Answer: Rubik's Cube

The other three games were first released in the 1970s or before. Rubik's cubes were released in 1983 and became a huge craze. There were 27 potential right maneuvers; as it has a 3 X 9 dimension.

This was from School House Rock which would run amidst Saturday morning cartoons to help to teach kids to remember their school work. I think I knew this song for years before I knew what a conjunction was. :)

Michael Jackson's scandals began with the children in the late 1980s, but he did not settle out of court until 1993. His professional career has been interesting enough since then. The other three events occurred in the 1980's.

Answer: Miss Dipesto

Alyse Beasley played Miss Dipesto on "Moonlighting" with Cybil Shepard (Maddie) and Bruce Willis (David). This was toward the twilight of her career, but before his career really exploded which it did in the 1990's with "Die Hard".

Answer: Bernard Goetz

Bernard Goetz, the "subway vigilante" got mentioned in Bill Joel's 1989 super hit "We Didn't Start the Fire". I created a sequel to that song to include the 1990s which I am attempting to have copy written and submitted to Billy Joel. I have made a quiz about it and it can be found in 1990s History.
