Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. As "Judgment Day" began, who did William Regal have a match against?

Answer: Rikishi

It should be noted that Rikishi had a shoulder injury coming into this match. At one point in the match Rikishi gave Regal the "Stinkface" and Regal had a very shocked look on his face. It looked like Rikishi had the upper hand, but when he charged Regal in the corner Regal moved out of the way and Rikishi hurt his shoulder. Regal then gave Rikishi some sort of finisher and pinned him for the win.

The injury Rikishi suffered happened on "Raw" a couple of weeks prior and he would be out of action for quite a while.
2. After the first match, who walked in to greet Vince McMahon?

Answer: Triple H and Stephanie McMahon

Triple H and Stephanie walked in to say hello to Vince. Vince was concerned because Triple H and Stone Cold Steve Austin broke Kane's arm a few weeks back and also because Stone Cold had put in a crank phone call to say that the Undertaker's wife Sara was in a serious car accident which made the Undertaker furious and Vince was worried that the Undertaker and Kane would have it out for the both of them. Triple H told Vince not to worry and that they would get the job done. Stone Cold Steve Austin would defend the WWF Heavyweight Title against the Undertaker in a No Holds Barred Match, while Triple H would defend the Intercontinental Title against Kane in a Steel Chain Match.
3. What kind of match did Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit have?

Answer: 2 Out Of 3 Falls Match

And now the story of this match. Benoit had stolen Kurt's gold medals and put them in a "safe place." Kurt was upset about this and they had a 2 Out Of 3 Falls Match to settle the issue. The first fall would be Pinfall Only. Benoit gave Kurt the "Angle Slam" to win the first fall.

The next fall was Submission Only. Kurt would win the fall when Benoit tapped out to the "Ankle Lock." With the match tied 1-1 it was time for the third fall: a Ladder Match in which the first man to climb the Ladder and retrieve the medals would be the winner.

It looked like Benoit was well on his way to winning the fall, but Edge and Christian came out and started pounding him and this allowed Kurt enough time to climb the ladder and get his medals back.
4. Who stormed into William Regal's office?

Answer: The Undertaker

The Undertaker demanded that Regal make his match with Stone Cold Steve Austin a No Holds Barred Match. Regal said he couldn't do that but when the Undertaker threatened him, Regal had no choice but to give into his demands. Regal would later go to Stone Cold's dressing room to give him the news.
5. William Regal went to Stone Cold Steve Austin's dressing room to tell him about the No Holds Barred stipulation that was added to his match against the Undertaker. Was Austin okay with this stipulation?

Answer: Yes

When told of the stipulation Austin just said "Fine."
6. There was a Tag Team Turmoil match to determine the number one contender for the WWF Tag Team Titles. Here is a rundown of the teams: The APA, The Hardy Boyz, X-Factor, Edge and Christian, Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn, the Dudley Boyz, Chris Jericho and _____. Who was Chris Jericho's mystery partner?

Answer: Chris Benoit

The way this match worked was two teams started and a pinfall on one member of a team meant an elimination for that team. Another team would enter and so on until one team was left standing. This was a match that lasted 32 minutes. Chris Benoit was Jericho's partner.

They were one of the last two teams in the ring. Edge and Christian were the other team. Benoit and Jericho would win Tag Team Turmoil and become WWF Tag Team Champions the next night on "Raw."
7. Who won the Chain Match for the Intercontinental Title

Answer: Kane

In this match Kane and Triple H were joined at their wrists by a steel chain which was used as a weapon by both men. Toward the end of the match Triple H was in trouble so Stone Cold Steve Austin came to the ring to help him out. Kane fought him off and sent him to the outside. Austin emerged with a chair a short time later and meant to hit Kane but he hit his tag team partner instead. Kane then pinned Triple H to win the Intercontinental Title.
8. Who did Chyna defend the WWF Women's Title against?

Answer: Lita

Chyna won the match with the "Chyna Bomb."
9. Who won the Triple Threat Match for the WWF Hardcore Title?

Answer: Rhyno

Rhyno gave the Big Show a "Gore" to retain the Hardcore Title.
10. Who won the No Holds Barred Match for the WWF Heavyweight Title?

Answer: Steve Austin

Vince McMahon would join Jim Ross and Paul Heyman at ringside. He didn't do a whole lot of talking but the few words he did say were clearly pro Austin. This match would feature action in the ring as well as on the outside, a "Chokeslam" by the Undertaker that sent Austin through the announce table, and a "Stone Cold Stunner" that the Undertaker kicked out of.

In the ring, the Undertaker gave Austin a "Chokeslam" and made a cover but Vince broke it up. Austin got a chair and attempted to hit the Undertaker with it but hit Vince instead.

The Undertaker attempted to give Austin the "Last Ride" but Triple H entered the ring with a sledgehammer and hit the Undertaker with it and this knocked him down. Austin then slowly crawled to the Undertaker and hooked the leg. Kane's pyro went off and he made his way to the ring.

The referee started the count and by the time Kane got to the ring Austin had won. It would be a year before the Undertaker would become WWF Heavyweight Champion for the first time in 3 years when he defeated Hulk Hogan at "Judgment Day" 2002.
