Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. According to the first issue's narrator, what caused the demise of the human race?

Answer: Over-reliance on superheroes

Lex Luthor narrates the first issue. In it, supervillains start to have the same nightmare: the destruction of Earth! To prevent that, the villains band together.
2. The Flash cannot stop running.

Answer: True

Until he is stopped by the combined efforts of Captain Marvel and Superman, the Flash, whose superpower is incredible speed, could not stop running. This strange malady began in the fourth issue of the twelve-issue miniseries.
3. Which hero is defeated in the first issue, outside of the dream sequence?

Answer: Aquaman

Aquaman is defeated by his old nemesis Black Manta, who brings him to Lex Luthor. Brainiac later intends to perform experiments on Aquaman's brain.
4. Who revives a desert, creating a new habitat for humans?

Answer: Captain Cold

Captain Cold, also known as Leonard Snart, used his ice gun to create water in the desert, creating a utopia. Naturally, Captain Cold's nemesis Flash is suspicious.
5. Who invents a new serum?

Answer: The Scarecrow

The Scarecrow, also known as Jonathan Crane, uses gas and toxins to instill fear in his victims. This, however, was a good turn of his previously heinous actions.
6. In which issue do the villains address the entire world?

Answer: The fourth issue

Having done a number of good things for the world and the poor and sickly people in it, the villains jointly make a speech to the entire world, allowing technology to translate their speech. They denounce the superheroes for not aiding the poor and weak, and announce the creation of a utopia where disease and poverty are not known.
7. Who come under the villains' control in the fifth issue?

Answer: Batman and Alfred

Similar to the brainworms used to keep Billy Batson under control in "Kingdom Come", these worms are based off of the "Captain Marvel" villain, Mister Mind. Mister Mind was also the threat behind "52".
8. Who throws Superman into the sun?

Answer: Captain Marvel

In order to escape the influence of the mind worms, Superman tells Captain Marvel to throw him into the sun. Superman will survive and in fact be invigorated by the sun, but the mind worms will burn away.
9. In issue six, who is in the hospital?

Answer: The Atom

Ray Palmer, having been shot by Giganta, is in the hospital recuperating. Giganta tries again to kill Ray, but he is able to escape using his shrinking technology.
10. Which villain enters the Legion of Doom's utopias?

Answer: The Joker

The Joker is more than a little irked about having been left out by the other villains. Disguised as a man of the cloth, he sneaks into one of the cities and plants explosive devices in them.
