Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. When Quentin Quire caused a riot at Xavier's school, who was the only female member of his gang?

Answer: Tattoo

Tattoo was able to form words on her skin, and could also phase her body, but she was depowered after M-Day. She and most of the Omega Gang were sent to a human prison following the riot. Esme Stepford and Ernst were students who became members of Magneto's Brotherhood, and Foxx was a false identity created by Mystique so that she could pass herself off as a student.
2. The Marauder known as Vertigo was originally a member of which group?

Answer: Savage Land Mutates

Why Vertigo decided to leave the Savage Land Mutates and hook up with the Marauders has never been revealed. She only worked with the Femizons briefly and not until years after she became a Marauder. Given the fact that the leader of the Marauders, Mr. Sinister, routinely creates clone back-ups of the team, it's entirely possible the Vertigo working with the Femizons wasn't the real deal.
3. Just before she died of the Legacy Virus, Infectia's real name was revealed, but only her first name. What was it?

Answer: Josephine

Infectia was an enemy of X-Factor who could mutate other living organisms with just a touch, usually a kiss. She was one of the first known mutants to contract the deadly Legacy Virus, though she was able to delay its effects for a while thanks to her mutation. Her first name was revealed to be Josephine in 'X-MEN' #27, the same issue in which she died.
4. One of the higher ranking members of Magneto's Acolytes, Amelia Voght was the former lover of who?

Answer: Charles Xavier

Amelia left Charles when he made the decision to form the X-Men. At the time, she believed fighting for his beliefs was a mistake, though she eventually came to see that he was right to do so, but Magneto's cause appealed to her more.
5. Which two members of the Morlocks were sisters, who later worked for X-Corp?

Answer: Feral and Thornn

Feral and Thornn (Maria and Lucia Callasantos), both with cat-like mutations, ran away from home and sought refuge with the Morlocks after Feral killed their mother.
6. Which of these was not one of the Imperial Guardsmen who battled the X-Men on the blue area of the Moon during the trial of the Phoenix?

Answer: Nightside

Though she has been a member of the Imperial Guard in good standing for many years, Nightside wasn't present during the trial of the Phoenix which occurred in the classic 'UNCANNY X-MEN' #137. Though the Imperial Guard were winning the fight, Hussar and Manta being responsible for the defeats of Storm and Nightcrawler, the fight really ended when Phoenix sacrificed herself.
7. There are many mutant Guthrie siblings, but which one uses the codename Aero?

Answer: Melody

Melody Guthrie was a student at Xavier's school who could generate an aura of energy that allowed her to fly, but she lost her powers during M-Day. Paige is a former X-Man named Husk, and Joelle and Elizabeth have never demonstrated mutant powers. In an alternate reality Elizabeth is able to increase her height and strength and is known as Amazon.
8. During the formation of X-Force, Domino was a founder member but she was actually being impersonated at the time by who?

Answer: Copycat

Once Copycat's ruse was discovered, Domino joined X-Force anyway. Copycat eventually died at the hands of Sabretooth.
9. Which member of the Mutant Liberation Front had a brother who worked with the Nasty Boys?

Answer: Thumbelina

The diminutive, purple-haired Thumbelina is the sister of Slab.
10. Of all ten known members of the Dark Riders, only one was female. Who was she?

Answer: Lifeforce

The Dark Riders were a group of mutant hunters who first worked for Apocalypse, and later Genesis. Lifeforce was killed, along with several other members of the team, during a battle with Wolverine and Cannonball. Phantazia was a member of Toad's Brotherhood, Domina was the leader of the Neo, and Stinger was a member of Apocalypse's Alliance of Evil.
